Sports Massage with Ken Parsons

Sports Massage has a fundamentally different approach from all other forms of massage. It is normally a far deeper massage designed to assist in correcting problems and imbalances in soft tissue, i.e. muscles, tendons and ligaments, often caused by repetitive, strenuous physical activity or trauma. Generally speaking it's simple, most people who have a sports massage on a regular basis are less prone to injuries.

Richard Pippett - 1441 SPORTS MASSAGE

Sports massage isn’t just for sporty people! It has a multitude of benefits no matter what your age, lifestyle or sporting prowess. Sports massage is the skilled manipulation of soft tissues and structures within the body helping to prevent injury, restore normal functional activity and increase and maintain range of motion.

It is used in sport and fitness to prepare the body for athletic activities, to maintain conditioning and enhance training and recovery. It is also equally used for treating a wide range of musculoskeletal problems caused by overuse injuries or exacerbated by the modern lifestyle.
